Goodweek launches User Memory: an AI that remembers how you work

Goodweek Team··1 min

Every conversation with an AI assistant starts the same way: who you are, what you do, how you like answers written. Repeat that enough times and the assistant stops feeling like a colleague and starts feeling like a form to fill in.

Goodweek now remembers. With User Memory, live for everyone, you set up your context once, such as your role, your preferences, and your working style, and Goodweek carries it across all your conversations from then on.

Setup happens in your Profile, where you can quickly add the key details that help Goodweek answer in a more personal, relevant way. A dedicated Memory area then puts you in control: turn memory on or off for your account whenever you want, add or refine custom instructions that describe how you want Goodweek to behave, and keep a simple list of saved preferences that you can edit or delete at any time. If you already use another assistant, you can bring your preferences over and review them before saving anything.

Control is the point. In this first phase, Goodweek does not learn things from your chats on its own: it only remembers what you explicitly choose to save, and nothing is saved without your review. Memory is transparent, editable, and optional.

The payoff is practical. A short setup means better answers from the first conversation, and fewer reminders and repeated context after that. It is also a foundation: this first version is deliberately simple and user-driven, and it sets the ground for further improvements to personalization.

To get started, open your Profile and add a few key details.
